EPL: You’ve changed, no longer always passing ball to Ronaldo – Neville tells Man Utd star

Gary Neville has suggested that Marcus Rashford has changed after the England international helped Manchester United beat West Ham 1-0 in the Premier League on Sunday.

Rashford’s 38th minute header was all the Red Devils needed to see off the visiting David Moyes’ men and take all three points at Old Trafford.

Neville noted that the England striker is beginning to take responsibilities and not see himself in the shadow of superstar striker, Cristiano Ronaldo.

He pointed out that Rashford now tries to score goals and take some risks instead of always trying to pass the ball to Ronaldo.

Rashford scored his 100th goal for the Red Devils, a feat achieved just a day before his 25th birthday.

‘He’s doing so much good off the pitch,” Neville said on Sky Sports.

“There were times last year where he’d get in that position and he was hesitant and he’d pass it back and take the easy option.

“There were also moments last year, when [Cristiano] Ronaldo was available, he’d pass it to him like he was subservient to him. I feel now he’s willing to take [responsibility] and then play him in when he needs to.”
