Former Manchester United star, Rio Ferdinand has hailed three Arsenal players, saying they stood out against Chelsea on Sunday.
Arsenal defeated Chelsea 1-0 at Stamford Bridge on Sunday and retained their position in the Premier League table.
Gabriel Martinelli scored the only goal of the game in the second half, but the likes of Gabriel Jesus, William Saliba and Thomas Partey were outstanding throughout.
And, Ferdinand acknowledged this, singling out the three for praise while analysing the game in his YouTube podcast.
“[William] Saliba was immense yesterday, he played really well,” he added.
“He stood out. [Thomas] Partey, he made it look easy in midfield.
“He dominated that midfield. [Gabriel] Jesus, he did everything but put the ball in the back of the net.”
