EPL: What ex-Man Utd manager Ten Hag did to me – Antony

Manchester United winger, Antony has revealed that the club's former manager, Erik ten Hag helped him to become a better player today.

Antony played under Ten Hag at Manchester United and Ajax, respectively.

The Brazilian international joined Man United from Ajax for £85 million in 2022.

Speaking about Ten Hag, Antony said the Dutchman helped him a lot in the Netherlands and England, adding that he is grateful to him.

“Erik ten Hag is a coach I'm very grateful to,” Antony told ESPN.

“He helped me a lot in the Netherlands, and in England too, even though the opportunities didn't come the way I wanted to.

“But that is the coach's choice, I don't hold any grudges or anything”;.

“On the contrary, I'm very grateful for everything he's done with me, for all the conversations too.

“He's a coach who will certainly be in this story because he helped me a lot.”;

Antony is currently on a six-month loan at Spanish LaLiga club Real Betis
