Former Manchester United goalkeeper, Edwin van der Sar has criticized Arsenal’s David Raya while naming Brighton’s Bart Verbruggen among his favourite goalkeepers to watch in the Premier League.
Van der Sar also said he likes Liverpool’s Alisson Becker and Manchester City’s Ederson.
Asked to name his favourite current goalkeepers in the Premier League, Van der Sar told Optus Sport: “I like Alisson and Ederson, both of them.
“But I think they are a little too much injured at the moment. They are not consistent.
“I like Bart Verbruggen. He is a young Dutch goalkeeper who is doing really well.”;;
He added, “I expect a little bit more for Raya at Arsenal.
“I think he has to step up his game a little bit more.
“He has all the attributes and the qualities but you have to be more decisive.”;;
Meanwhile, Verbruggen has been linked with a move to Manchester United this summer transfer window.
