Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola, has said it is “unfortunate” that Erling Haaland will not be at the 2022 World Cup.
Haaland will be absent at the tournament as Norway failed to qualify.
Guardiola has now revealed the plans he has for members of his squad that will be left behind when Qatar 2022 kicks off.
“Maybe for ten days or two weeks we will go off and be with family then come back.
“Then two weeks to reignite our rhytmn after the World Cup.
“Erling would prefer to go to the World Cup with Norway but unfortunately he cannot go. But two years there’s the Euros and now he can focus on his club,” Guardiola said.
