Arsenal legend Thierry Henry has urged the club’s new signing, Eberechi Eze, to fight for the Gunners no matter the circumstances.

Henry made the remarks while expressing his delight after Arsenal secured the signing of the England international.

The Frenchman also encouraged the 27-year-old to make his arrival at the Emirates Stadium “count.”

Arsenal unveiled Eze at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday following his £68m move from Premier League side Crystal Palace.

Speaking to Arsenal’s official website, Henry said of Eze: “First and foremost, welcome to Arsenal.

“You don’t understand how happy we all are. We all know how much you wanted to play for The Arsenal, and wear the cannon at the Emirates.

“It’s not a dream anymore, it’s not a utopia. That has become reality. Make sure that you make it count.

“Remember, when I first arrived at Arsenal, they told me that it is a club that has class, it’s a family club, and you got to fight no matter what.”
