Newcastle United legend, Alan Shearer has slammed Manchester United after they lost 2-0 to Hull City in the Premier League on Saturday.


Shearer said Manchester United did not ‘look fit’ during the encounter against Hull City at the MKM Stadium.

Goals from Sami Ajayi and Nobel Mendy secured victory for Hull City against the Red Devils at home.

Speaking on BBC Radio 5 Live, Shearer said, “I have not seen Manchester United in pre-season, but I saw them in this game, and they didn’t look fit.

“They didn’t look ready to play 90 minutes of intense, high-pressure, high-energy football.”

Manchester United will take on Ipswich Town next weekend at Old Trafford.
