Former Manchester United striker, Louis Saha, has urged his old club to sign Sandro Tonali or Bruno Guimaraes as Casemiro’s replacement.
Saha described the Newcastle United pair as “midfield monsters,” pointing out their ability to step into Casemiro’s role effectively.
Casemiro is leaving the Red Devils as a free agent when his contract expires in the summer.
“I have always been a big fan of Casemiro,” Saha said via The Mirror.
“Casemiro has proved he is a world-class player, and I understand why Man United fans want him to stay.
“Man United need aggressiveness and a player who will dictate the midfield like [Sandro] Tonali or [Bruno] Guimaraes, who are two monsters in midfield and have the experience and vision to manage the transition when Casemiro leaves.”
