Arsenal shook off their 3-2 defeat to Manchester United last week, with an emphatic 4-0 win at Leeds United on Saturday.
The Gunners had seen their lead at the top cut to four points following that result.
Having dispatched Kairat Almaty in the Champions League in midweek, Mikel Arteta’s men recorded another important victory at Elland Road.
Martin Zubimendi opened the scoring with a clever header from Noni Madueke’s cross in the first half.
Arsenal went into the break two goals up, after goalkeeper Karl Darlow pushed the ball into his own net.
In the second half, Viktor Gyokeres and Gabriel Magalhaes added more goals, as Arsenal re-established their seven-point lead at the top, ahead of Manchester City’s trip to Tottenham Hotspur.
