Former Newcastle United goalkeeper, Shay Given has predicted Liverpool to win the Premier League title this season.
Given also backed Liverpool (first), Arsenal (second), Manchester City third and Chelsea (fourth) to finish in the Premier League top four this season.
When asked to give his prediction for the club to win the Premier League title this season, Given said as quoted by the Premier League’s website: “Liverpool.”
Explaining his pick, Given said: “They have got the depth, the firepower, and a real sense of momentum going into the season.”
Providing his top four, Given added: “Liverpool, Arsenal, Man City and Chelsea”.
Last season, Liverpool won the Premier League title, while Arsenal, Man City and Chelsea make up the top four.
