Former Manchester United midfielder, Paul Scholes, has stated that Manchester City will secure the Premier League title ahead of Arsenal.

The Gunners enter the November international break four points ahead at the top of the table.

City dominated Liverpool with a 3-0 victory at the Etihad, a day after Mikel Arteta’s squad played to a 2-2 draw against Sunderland.

“I haven’t been particularly impressed by City lately, but yesterday [against Liverpool], I thought for the first time they could be serious challengers,” Scholes remarked on The Good, The Bad & The Football podcast.

“I believe they remain slight favorites over Arsenal because of their past achievements.

“I understand Arsenal is four points ahead, but with the experience City possesses and Arsenal’s lack of it, you have to consider City as slightly ahead.”
