Former England defender, Rio Ferdinand, has predicted the outcome of the Premier league clash between Arsenal and Manchester United, which comes up during the weekend.

Arsenal travel to Manchester United to face the Red Devils at Old Trafford on Sunday in their opening game of the 2025-26 Premier League season.

Rio Ferdinand, a former Manchester United star, predicted a draw between the two clubs.

Both sides will head into game with new strikers leading their attacks.

Speaking on his YouTube channel, the ex-England international went with a 1-1 draw.

A 1-1 draw will be a repeat of the result when both EPL giants met earlier this year.

Ferdinand disagreed with predictions that Man United would lose, and said, “I’m going draw. I’m going to go score draw. 1-1.”

DAILY POST reported that former Arsenal man, Theo Walcott had earlier on Called Soccer! Podcast predicted that Arsenal would pick up all three points.

Walcott also said that Arsenal forward, Gabriel Martinelli would score the lone goal in the game.
