EPL: Rio Ferdinand names his Premier League player of year 2022

Rio Ferdinand has picked Arsenal’s Bukayo Saka as the young player of the Year 2022.

He hailed the young star for his performances so far this year, claiming the England international is already the Premier League’s young player of the season.

Rio Ferdinand added that Manchester City striker Erling Haaland should be named the senior player of the season.

Saka fired the Gunners in front within two minutes of the game away clash against Brighton.

He has scored seven goals and provided six assists so far this season.

Ferdinand said the player’s outstanding performances should earn him the player of the year award.

The legendary central defender tweeted:”#saka is PL young player of the year already….hand it to him asap….and give Haaland the senior award too while ya at it!!”
