Chelsa boss, Graham Potter, has confirmed that N’Golo Kante and Edouard Mendy will not feature in his side’s Premier League tie against Crystal Palace on Saturday due to injury.
Potter also provided the latest update on Marc Cucurella and Carney Chukwuemeka ahead of the Crystal Palace clash at Selhurst Park.
“They [Mendy and Kante] are not available,” Potter said at his pre-match press conference on Friday.
“They are absolutely fine in terms of coming through the rehab stages. NG has been on the grass with the team but not really full training.
“Edou is a bit further on but hasn’t had enough to be involved at the weekend. Maybe next week for him.”
He added, “We’ve got a bit of illness with Marc Cucurella and Carney. Apart from that, everybody is fit.”
The kick-off time for the match is 3 pm.
