Published on May 21, 2025 at 11:44 AM

Nigerian defender Benjamin Frederick has been voted Brentford’s U-21 Player of the Year, DAILY POST reports.

The former Flying Eagles star was recognised by his teammates for his exceptional skills and dedication.

Frederick linked up with the Bees from local club Simoibein Football Club in May 2024.

The youngster has trained with Brentford’s first team this season.

The 19-year-old is however yet to make his first team appearance for Thomas Frank’s side.

Frederick was part of Nigeria’s Flying Eagles side at the 2023 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations held in Egypt.
