Wilfred Ndidi is available for Leicester City’s Premier League clash against Manchester City on Saturday, according to manager, Brendan Rodgers.
Ndidi has been sidelined since suffering a relapse of a hamstring injury in the Foxes 4-0 win against Nottingham Forest on October 3.
The midfielder has missed Leicester City’s last four games as a result of the setback.
Rodgers stated that the Nigerian has resumed full training with his teammates and is ready to face the champions.
“The most important thing is heâs (Ndidi) back training in the squad and heâs looked fine with the players,” Rodgers was quoted by the club’s official website
“Availability is the important thing and thankfully heâs available. Marc Albrighton was obviously back last weekend. Weâre all fine.”
The news will also delight Super Eagles head coach, Jose Peseiro, who will be counting on Ndidi in the upcoming international friendly against Portugal.
The friendly against the former European champions will hold at the Estadio Jose Alvalade, Lisbon on November 17.
