Former Manchester United star, Paul Parker has slammed ‘overrated’ Chelsea ahead of their Premier League tie with Bournemouth at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday.
Parker said that Chelsea midfielder Jorginho is not performing, defender Kalidou Koulibaly is ‘lumbering’, while N’Golo Kante has passed his prime.
According to him, Graham Potter’s side will not compete for the Premier League top four this season.
“Honestly, I think that Chelsea’s team is overrated,” Parker told BeMyBet.
“I never really understood why they signed Kalidou Koulibaly. He’s lumbering and he’s not doing anything.
“They don’t have a great goalkeeper or a great centre forward. N’Golo Kante is past his prime and Jorginho isn’t performing at all.
“I really don’t see them being able to compete to finish in the [Premier League] top four. The midfield is lacking creativity.”
