Liverpool manager, Jurgen Klopp, has admitted it was “horrible” watching his team concede three goals against Brighton at Anfield.
The Reds fought back from 2-0 down to lead 3-2, before Leandro Trossard completed his hat-trick with a late goal.
Klopp was critical of the way his side dropped points in front of their fans.
“You need to defend and we didn’t have that. We weren’t sitting deep, we weren’t attacking high.
“We were in between and their players could turn between the lines, it was really horrible to watch.
“It reminded me a bit of the first part of my time at Liverpool. When we had a situation of only being one goal ahead, everyone was nearly having a heart attack. We were just not convincing,” Klopp said.
