Manchester United forward, Cristiano Ronaldo, has said he would be happy if Arsenal win the Premier League title this season.
Ronaldo, speaking with Piers Morgan on Thursday night, admitted that he would love the Gunners to finish first if United fail to.
“Manchester [United] first and if not, Arsenal is some team that I like to see play. I like the team, I like the coach.
“I think they have a good team. If Manchester United don’t win the Premier League, I will be happy if Arsenal do,” Ronaldo said.
Arsenal go into the 2022 World Cup break top of the table.
Mikel Arteta’s men have picked up 37 points from their first 14 fixtures, five more than Manchester City.
