Manchester United youngster, Facundo Pellistri, has sent a clear message to manager Erik ten Hag, insisting that he wants to play a role for the club this season.
Pellistri made the Man United bench for the first time in a Premier League match on Sunday, with Ten Hag’s men losing 6-3 against Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium.
A hat-trick each from Erling Haaland and Phil Foden gave Pep Guardiola’s side all three points against Man United.
Antony and Anthony Martial did score for the Red Devils.
However, Pellistri, 20, did not get featured against Man City.
“Now Manchester will have an important string of games, so I also hope to get minutes at the club,” Pellistri told ESPN Argentina.
“Erik ten Hag is a good coach, with a very clear idea; I really want to start participating in the team.
“I already feel good, I’m not 100 per cent yet because these injuries take time. But I am still very happy with how I felt.”
