Manchester United manager, Ruben Amorim, has said he will be in charge after the international break.

However, Amorim insists he wants to continue in the job.

The Red Devils were eliminated from the Carabao Cup by League Two Grimsby Town on Wednesday.

That defeat has piled on pressure on Amorim as they prepare to host Burnley at Old Trafford on Saturday.

Amorim was asked by reporters on Friday, whether he was sure of not getting sacked during the international break, he replied: “I don’t know what is going to happen.

“That is my idea [to continue] but I’m not going to promise you nothing [about] what the future will be.

“But I am the manager of Manchester United and I think that is not going to change.”
