Former Manchester City midfielder, Yaya Toure has expressed his love for Arsenal captain Martin Odegaard.
Toure praised Odegaard’s exceptional ability to navigate between the lines, a skill he believes significantly enhances Arsenal’s performance this season.
His comments came after Arsenal’s 2-1 victory over Chelsea in the Premier League at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday.
Odegaard was absent from the squad due to a knee injury, as manager Mikel Arteta chose to rest the key midfielder.
“Martin Odegaard is a brilliant player, and for me, he is a huge miss for Arsenal,” Toure said on Sky Sports.
“He plays between the lines and moves very well, I love this type of player.”
Meanwhile, the return of Odegaard for Arsenal’s upcoming match against Brighton on Wednesday remains uncertain.
