Manchester United legend, Paul Scholes, has named forward, Marcus Rashford as the club’s best player so far this season.
Scholes said this after Rashford scored a brace in England’s World Cup 3-0 win over Wales on Tuesday.
According to him, the 25-year-old is looking really dangerous this season.
Rashford’s impressive performance for England ensured the Three Lions qualified for the knockout stages as winners of Group B.
Speaking on Man United’s weekly show, The Debate, Scholes singled out Rashford as the club’s leading performer this term.
“I will go for Marcus [Rashford],” Scholes said when asked who is Man United’s best player so far this campaign.
“I think he has turned it around. He has had a bit of a tough 18 months, but I think he is looking really dangerous this season.
“Hopefully, he’s carried it on a little bit with England as well, with the minutes he’s played.
“Hopefully, he can come back and have a really strong end to the season as well.”
