Former Real Madrid midfielder, Wesley Sneijder has advised Liverpool against Dutch international, Jurrien Timber, because of a major weakness in his game.
Timber, who currently plays for Ajax, has been strongly linked with a move to Liverpool this summer transfer window.
But Sneijder has insisted that the defender could struggle in the Premier League because of his diminutive stature.
“He is a smart lad and a really good defender.
“But he loses every header and in England – against those wardrobes in the Premier League – that will be his downfall,” Sneijder told Dutch TV show Veronica Offside, as quoted by Metro.
