Former Manchester United defender, Gary Neville, has predicted Manchester City to win the Premier League title this season by a landslide margin.
Neville said this after Man City defeated Man United in a Premier League derby on Sunday.
He believes Pep Guardiola’s side will retain their Premier League crown by ’15-20′ points, despite trailing league leaders Arsenal by a point.
“They [United] responded in the second half and were playing against something that is just abnormal in Haaland and City. I think they can win this league by 15-20 points,” Neville said on his Podcast.
“It feels like a ridiculous statement to make when they are not even top of the league at this moment in time – but I think they are that good.
“When the league settles down, when they start to really get into it, the signs are there, they are scoring that many goals, they’ve got three of their best players missing today.”
