Manchester United legend, Gary Neville, has named Sol Campbell’s move from Tottenham Hotspur to Arsenal as the biggests most shocking transfer he has ever seen in Premier League history.

Neville stated this while speaking in a recent episode of The Overlap’s Stick to Football.

“Sol’s the biggest transfer I think I have ever seen, in shocks. In shocks, it was massive,” Neville said.

Campbell left Tottenham Hotspur to join Arsenal in 2001.

The former defender spent five seasons with Arsenal before leaving in 2006 to join Portsmouth on a free transfer.

However, Campbell rejoined the Gunners in 2010 and spent six months before moving to Newcastle United, where he eventually retired from football.
