EPL: Emile Heskey names 4 clubs that’ll challenge Liverpool for title next season

Published on May 01, 2025 at 04:28 PM

Former England international, Emile Heskey has named four clubs that will compete with Liverpool for the English Premier League, EPL, title next season.

Liverpool were confirmed Premier League champions this season following their 5-1 win against Tottenham Hotspur last weekend.

However, Heskey feels it will be hard for the Reds to retain the EPL title next term.

According to him, Manchester City, Arsenal, Newcastle United and Aston Villa will challenge Arne Slot’s side for the English top-flight title next season.

“It will be difficult for Liverpool to retain the title next season,”; Heskey told Metro via Best New Bingo Sites.

“I think Man City will come back stronger next season, and I think it’s just the Pep Guardiola factor that makes me believe that.

“Arsenal will also be on their heels. Aston Villa and Newcastle [United] will also be right up at the top of the league again next season,”; he said.
