Eberechi Eze will likely get to wear his preferred shirt number when he completes his move from Crystal Palace to Arsenal.

The 27-year-old is on the verge of completing a dream switch to the Emirates, after his boyhood club hijacked Tottenham’s bid to sign him.

Eze was released by the Gunners when he was 13, but will now wear the red and white 14 years later.

And according to the UK Mirror, there is every chance that Eze could land the iconic No 10 shirt that he has worn at both Palace and his previous club, QPR.

The shirt is currently vacant at Arsenal after Emile Smith Rowe left to Fulham last summer.

Eze is expected to be in Mikel Arteta’s squad to face Liverpool next week, as he was not registered in time to play against Leeds United on Saturday.
