Nottingham Forest head coach Sean Dyche has shared his thoughts on Taiwo Awoniyi’s performance during Sunday’s Premier League victory against Leeds United.

The Reds came from behind to secure a 3-1 win against the visitors at the City Ground, marking their first league victory under Dyche.

This win extends Forest’s unbeaten streak to three matches across all competitions.

Awoniyi substituted for Igor Jesus just before the hour mark.

The Nigerian international is experiencing a resurgence after facing challenges in securing regular playing time under former manager Ange Postecoglou.

Dyche commended the striker for his impactful performance.

“T [Awoniyi] was outstanding. He appeared a bit out of sorts initially, but he understands the role he plays for us,” he was quoted by BBC Sports UK.
