Former Tottenham Hotspur striker, Darren Bent has predicted Liverpool to retain the Premier League title this season.
Bent also tipped the likes of Liverpool, Arsenal (second), Chelsea (third) and Manchester City (fourth) to finish in the Premier League top four.
The new Premier League season will start on Friday night with Liverpool taking on Bournemouth at Anfield.
When asked to give his prediction for the team to win the Premier League title this season, Bent said as quoted by Premier League’s website: “Liverpool.”
Explaining his pick, the retired footballer said: “They have recruited really well. They were the best team last year and have got even better.”
On team to finish top four, Bent added, “Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea and Man City.”
Last season, Liverpool won the Premier League title, while Arsenal, Manchester City and Chelsea completed the top four spot.
