Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has revealed the Gunners penalty taker after Bukayo Saka’s crucial miss against West Ham on Sunday.
Arteta defended Saka and maintained that the England international will continue in the club’s penalty duties.
The 21-year-old missed a costly penalty during Arsenal’s 2-2 draw at West Ham on Sunday.
Gabriel Jesus and Martin Odegaard put Arsenal ahead in the first half but were surprisingly pegged back after giving away a sloppy penalty.
“A player who takes penalties misses penalties, I don’t know anyone who hasn’t,” the manager told Sky Sports.
“If I had to pick one player to do it, it would be him again. In that moment we missed it and this is football.”
