Manchester United manager, Ruben Amorim, is very likely to start next season without a new striker, according to the Daily Mail.

The Red Devils have already spent over £130m on Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo this summer.

However, Amorim’s preferred tactical formation means Mbeumo and Cunha, will be play as the two No.10s in a 3-4-2-1 system.

Amorim is looking to bring in a striker with Premier League experience.

United have already missed out on top target Liam Delap, who has opted to sign for Chelsea.

Viktor Gyokeres and Hugo Ekitike will join Arsenal and Liverpool respectively.

United’s moves in the market is being delayed by shortage of budget, as they are trying to raise money by selling players.

They have linked with Paris Saint-Germain’s Randal Kolo Muani, Ollie Watkins of Aston Villa and RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Sesko, as well as free agents such as Dominic Calvert-Lewin.
