Aged just 21, energetic Ball was the youngest member of that legendary starting XI 60 years ago and he ran himself into the ground for his country over 120 minutes.
The iconic red jersey will form part of a live auction organised by Wellingborough-based BUDDS on Thursday June 25.
It is not being sold by the family of Ball – who died in April 2007 aged 61 – but is being put up for purchase by a private collector, who wishes to remain anonymous.
The catalogue for the “1966 and Beyond – The World Cup Legacy Collection” reckons it will go for between £150,000-£200,000.
In his playing career, combative midfielder Ball played the majority of his career for Blackpool, Everton, Arsenal and Southampton between 1962 and 1979, and he also won 72 caps.
In the World Cup Final, it was Ball’s cross that led to Sir Geoff Hurst’s controversial second goal, the most debated strike in English football history, and whether or not it crossed the goal line.
The BUDDS 450-lot auction could be one of the most significant ever in sporting memorabilia with total sales that are tipped to reach more than £2million.

A member of the side that won the World Cup in 2002 has also put up his medal for sale – with an estimation of £20,000-£30,000.
David Convery, Head of Sporting Memorabilia at BUDDS, said: “This is the largest collection of World Cup memorabilia ever offered at auction.
“It is difficult to imagine many sales that could rival it in terms of historical significance.
“We’re already seeing strong interest from collectors in the UK and around the world.
“Opportunities to acquire objects of this calibre and historical importance don’t come along very often.”
