England’s biggest worry will be former Nations League and recent Euros champions Spain.
Fans will remember their last meeting in the Euro 2024 final in which Spain broke English hearts late on after Cole Palmer’s equaliser.
They will also face Croatia, a team whom they will also be forced to outwit in their World Cup group at the US World Cup later this year.
And the group will be rounded out by Czechia, one of pot four’s stronger challengers, adding to the depth of England’s challenge.
This year’s fixtures will kick off from September 24th, with the last matchday of the group stage coming in the November international break.
Should hold their nerve and finish in the top two of their group, they will advance to the playoffs in March 2027, and potentially the final that June.
England will be hoping to keep up their run of strong form in the competition.
The Three Lions saw themselves trying to bounce back from relegation from the top division of the competition after going winless in a group of death in 2022.
