He stated: “Hopefully, if I make an impression and demonstrate my capabilities, I would love to be on that plane in the summer.”
Tuchel also confirmed that Guehi would not be part of the squad due to injury.
He praised the defender for his leadership qualities and the support he provides to his teammates.
He remarked: “With Marc, it is quite painful, but fortunately, there is no structural damage, so it's primarily about managing the pain.
“There is a chance that there could be significant improvement from one day to the next, so we are realistically preparing for the second game.
“If he cannot train on Friday and is unable to participate on Saturday, then we will not have him travel with us, and he will receive rest and treatment.”
