EMMERDALE has revealed Bear Wolf’s fate in a devastating twist.
The soap opera kicked off the New Year with Celia Daniels disclosing that she had killed Bear – followed by Ray taking her life in retaliation.

During the episode, Celia learned that Ray had not killed April Windsor as she had demanded, but instead had let her escape.
“This is Laurel, your dull and lifeless girlfriend,” she exclaimed.
“She doesn’t love you. How could anyone love you?”
She aimed to hit him where it hurt, reminding him of his teenage mother abandoning him and how his grandfather had to hand him over to Celia.
“You can say whatever you want, but Bear is not going to die,” Ray asserted, suppressing his emotions.
Then Celia revealed the horrifying truth – while Ray was supposed to be killing April, she had already taken Bear's life.
She told him: “No, you’re correct; Bear is not going to die because he is already dead.
“I know you’d prefer me to say it was painless, but it wasn’t. It was agonizing. I watched him gasp for breath as he pleaded for my help. You see, at least one of us still has the stomach for this game.”
Ray was overwhelmed with emotion and began to cry as Celia continued to taunt and threaten him.
However, later on, Ray reached his breaking point – and he was the one who ultimately dealt with Celia once and for all.
He spent the day stewing in anger over what she had said and done, so when Celia came to apologize and manipulate him, it wasn’t enough.
“There’s a way through this; we just need to remember we’re on the same side,” she said.
“I still see that sensitive little boy who felt like the entire sky was going to collapse on him. I would wrap my arms around him and make it all go away. Come here, silly?”
Pulling him in for a hug, the twisted Celia told him: “I am the only one who will ever love you.”

But after he stabbed her, Celia told him: “I’m proud of you.”
She then collapsed to the floor, lifeless, where she remained until today when Ray was cheerfully recounting her mistakes to her body.
When he went upstairs, he lost his cheerful demeanor after murdering his own mother and was instead devastated to discover Bear’s lifeless body upstairs.
Unable to enter the room fully, he apologized to Ted and then left, intending to move in with Laurel and live happily ever after.
Unfortunately for him, Laurel was fully aware of his true nature and firmly rejected him, insisting that he stay away from her.
