In June 2024, Emily and Alistair , a son named Barney James Garner.
The actress wrote on Instagram at the time: “We have a beautiful son. Barney James Garner. All my dreams have come true.”
Earlier this year, the actress that led to her losing weight after giving birth to Barney.
She fell seriously ill with , which according to the is a serious reaction to an infection that can be life threatening and requires urgent treatment in hospital.
She told Grazia : “I was trolled for being enormous when I was pregnant and I’m now trolled for having lost weight.
“My body holds all my trauma as well as my happiness and joy. I went through a very difficult pregnancy.
“I was very ill after the birth. I had sepsis, I couldn’t leave the house for weeks. It was awful.”
