TOWIE star Ella Rae Wise has hinted she could be in line for a shock stint in the Love Island villa this summer.
Joey Essex’s famous turn in the villa two years ago, in which he struck up a , laid the foundations for future celebrity crossovers, and Ella is keen to look for love on the show.

When pressed by The Sun if talks have been had with show bosses, Ella coyly said: “Let’s just not say too much. We’re in the year of the horse so that means new doors are opening. I’m just very excited to see what 2026 brings.”
If she were to make a bombshell arrival, Ella believes it would be a match made in heaven.
“I think that’s a situation that I would be able to thrive in and I’d love every single minute of that,” she said.
“And also to meet new people, make new friendships, meet new girlies that we could form lovely friendships with.”
Though she’s only 25, Ella Rae is a reality TV veteran, having made her Towie debut eight years ago.
Last year she appeared on Celebrity Big Brother and showed a more vulnerable side to her character.
She has no regrets about her TV career to date and thinks she’s been such a mainstay on the box because she’s not afraid to show the real her.
“I think taking from my experience in Big Brother, if I was to go into any reality TV show, I don’t think I’d do anything different because at the end of the day, you’re living the moment and you can’t help how you feel in that moment either,” she said.
“I feel like with reality TV, it’s all been about being real and being able to see other people’s reality and then people can relate to yours.
“For me, it’s not about being fake. I am who I am and people can always relate to what you go for and how you feel.”

But while accepts that she’s known for her explosive clashes, she is adamant she doesn’t go looking for trouble.
She said: “I would say during my Towie time, obviously we all know that I fall out with people, that’s the part that I play in Towie.
“I wouldn’t say that I go out of my way to do that, it just happens for me. And at the end of the day, I’m always going to stick up for what’s right and apologise for whatever I do that’s wrong.”
She continued: “I’ve always felt like I’ve been very misunderstood. I feel like I’ve come across on camera differently.
“I am very honest and I am very open and I do just say what I think. Sometimes you don’t come off the best in situations like that and being like that. Sometimes you probably are best to just keep your mouth shut.”
Ella Rae recently returned from Vietnam where some of the Towie cast filmed scenes for the upcoming series.
The stars have all been sworn to secrecy to protect the storylines, but it won’t come as a surprise that the idyllic holiday vibe quickly gave way to drama.
“I’d say in the new series you most likely will see things being smoothed over, but then it doesn’t last for long,” said Ella.
“Everyone was very raw with emotions. I would say we had a lot of happy times as well as sad times, and a lot of honesty. It’s going to be one that is going to be very interesting to watch, not only for the viewers but also for us as well.”
