Mohammed Bello El-Rufai, a member of the House of Representatives representing Kaduna North Federal Constituency and Chairman of the Committee on Banking Regulations, has acknowledged that his father, Nasir El-Rufai, is not without flaws.

Despite that, Bello called the former Kaduna State governor one of the best administrators, saying he is the father of modern development in the state.

He made the comments in a statement that he wrote and signed himself to celebrate Eid-el-Fitr.

According to him: “I was only compelled to briefly return in order to debunk an outright lie by an agency regarding our dear father, the former Governor of Kaduna, Mallam Nasir @elrufai.

“It has been really emotional to see so many people standing up for Mallam’s honor, even those who weren’t very close to him. May God bless you and yours.

“He is doing really well and finishing all his books. In the execution of all human actions, every leader has their own flaws. However, he is considered one of the best by many of us.

“The father of modern Kaduna and a highly skilled administrator. I made sure to inform him about the supportive and kind messages from many of you during my last visit.

“I made sure to inform him about the supportive and kind messages from many of you during my last visit. Our focus remains on Kaduna North, and my team of advisers has carried out some initiatives for the people of Kaduna North. At the same time, our attention has been on Ramadan and our father.”
