Ekiti United have confirmed that they will be participating in the 2025–26 Nigeria National League, NNL, season.

The club’s media officer, Blessing Akinyemi, made the confirmation in a statement.

Ekiti United have acquired a promotion slot to play in the second-tier league next term.

They failed to secure promotion through the Nationwide League One playoffs.

Part of the statement reads, “We are delighted to share with our fans, stakeholders, and the entire Ekiti community that Ekiti United Football Club has successfully secured a slot in the NNL for the 2025/2026 season.”

DAILY POST recalls that Ekiti United were relegated to the NLO at the end of the 2023–24 NNL season.
