CHELSEA legend Eden Hazard has snubbed multiple fellow Blues icons as he named the best footballer he has ever played with.

The tricky winger is one of the best to ever do it at , and is adored by fans the world over, despite his love for Real Madrid.

In his time at Chelsea, he played with almost all of the club’s biggest-ever legends.

Joining in the summer of 2012, he spent seven years in SW6 and hit the peak of his career towards the end of his time there, and around the 2018 Russia World Cup with .

He shared the pitch with the likes of , , and at Chelsea – though those three were not at the peak of their careers when he joined.

He also played with a prime and .

None of those was named as his best-ever team-mate.

Neither were Belgian internationals Kevin De Bruyne or Romelu Lukaku, both of whom he shared an excellent relationship with on the pitch.

Even winner didn’t make it as number one, with Hazard finishing eighth in the award rankings when Modric won the gong.

According to L’Equipe , the Belgian icon had just one man in mind to take the top spot.

Hazard told the French outlet : “There have been quite a few between Chelsea and .

“A Ballon d’Or winner like Luka Modric, very good.

“Frank Lampard, Didier Drogba, or Samuel Eto’o towards the end of his time at Chelsea.

“But if I had to pick one, it would be Karim (Benzema).

“Another Ballon d’Or winner I had the chance to play alongside at Real. In matches as well as in training, he was top-notch.

“I’d be on the pitch with him, and I’d exclaim, ‘Wow!’ Pure artistry.”
