Eddie Hearn fears Anthony Joshua will miss out on two of his three ‘dream’ fights with Fury, Wilder and Whyte on list

EDDIE HEARN fears Anhony Joshua will only face one of his three “dream” rivals Tyson Fury, Deontay Wilder and Dillian Whyte.

AJ‘s promoter reckons the Brit taking on explosive hitter Wilder could be the biggest fight in heavyweight boxing.

And Hearn insists Joshua only wants to face a big name for his comeback bout next year after two world title losses to Oleksandr Usyk.

But he rates a clash with Whyte as the likeliest option after talks to meet unbeaten Tyson Fury broke down.

Hearn told Boxing Social: “If you’re looking at three fights next for which you hope for him to have, maybe you go Dillian Whyte, Wilder, Fury.

“I mean that would be the dream year, but probably one of them would be nice the way everything’s going.

“I do feel that AJ–Wilder is just a massive global heavyweight fight.

“Two titans that the fight could end at any moment. I think it’s a tremendous fight.”

Joshua is still in training despite a December clash with Fury falling through.

And although Hearn claims his man is hungry to meet a household name, AJ has also been called out by Otto Wallin and Chris Arreola.

It could all depend on whether Whyte beats Jermaine Franklin at Wembley Arena on November 26.

Hearn told the DAZN Boxing Show of Joshua’s schedule: “Originally in December if that Tyson Fury fight could get made but now it hasn’t and probably January or February is when it gets made.

“Talking to him the other day he wants to fight Dillian Whyte and… Whyte is the front runner if he comes through.

“There is the Wilder situation which is definitely a fight he is looking at.

“And I don’t think he wants to start looking outside of the top ten of the governing bodies.”
