EASTENDERS villain Joel Marshall has made a shock return tonight months after his brutal attack on Vicki Fowler.
The incel – who is played by actor Max Murray in the soap – hasn’t been seen int he Square since months.

Viewers saw him brutally attack Vicki last year as the culmination of his descent into misogynistic culture.
She was left battered and bruised, stumbling across the Square and almost died.
Now Joel’s back on screen and facing trial for his vile actions.
However he’s had more hell in store form Vicki bin court.
As Vicki relieved the horrifying attack and all that led up to it – she became emotional in court.
But when Joel’s barrister began raising Vicki’s past, how she cheated on ex Spencer with Joel’s dad.
He then tried to manipulate situations to make Vicki look bad – including paying off Joel’s previous victims.
Vicki lost it in court, and sobbed: “I can’t do this.
“How dare you? How dare you? What is the point…”
She fled, devastated at what was happening.
It was previously reported that actor Max had quit the show after the end of the story.
A source told the Metro: “Max is leaving following an incredible year.
“There’s still lots to come in the weeks ahead that will leave viewers on the edge of their seats.
“Following his spellbinding performance, there’s no doubt that producers will be keen to snap him up – and Max is already on the lookout for his next role.”
