EASTENDERS star Melissa Suffield shared a photo from A&E after she rushed her son to hospital.
The actress, who played Lucy Beale from 2004 to 2010, said her Sunday evening took a surprise turn after she found herself in hospital with her six-year-old son River.

Melissa, 33, posted a picture of the youngster sitting in the A&E waiting room.
The former soap star did not divulge the purpose for the hospital trip but wrote: “Not the most fun way to round off the holiday.”
This evening, Melissa shared another update saying: “We just got home, I’ll fill you in later on River once I’ve got him to bed.
“I’m really intrigued to know if anyone has ever had anything similar happen to their kid and what the f*** it was?!”

The doting mum has previously shared health updates with her followers.
Back in 2022, Melissa and revealed she had to call an ambulance at 2am.
At the time, she wrote: “Back to A&E again. That’s three visits in the last 16 days.
“Given 3 loads of nebuliser (he was NOT a fan) and some meds and he perked right up. Very much enjoyed having a biscuit in bed and making a friend who he called Baby, even though she was older than him.”
She continued: “Have been sent home with inhalers to wean from the various nebulisers and some more meds.
“Basically very pleased we went in as it’s absolutely where we needed to be. Always trust your instincts.
“Just a nasty virus being nasty. Fingers crossed it passes quickly now, I am not up for a 4th visit next week, but more than anything just pleased he’s better now.”
Melissa, who gave birth to in March 2020, has become well known for sharing her life as a parent as well as body confidence messages.
She rose to fame on the soap 2004-2010 after joining when she was just 11.

“6 years after our cancelled Covid wedding we thought we should probably get round to making it official.
“And yes, in the most ‘us’ silly and easy going way as possible.
“Can’t wait to catch you up on the rest of our trip but right now, we’re catching a flight to California!”
