But now fans know who actually did it, and it wasn’t who they thought.

Patrick Trueman, Anthony’s dad, was told by the funeral director that he would soon be able to view his son’s body in its open casket.

But when he turned to talk to his granddaughter Jasmine about the viewing, she made a quick exit, clearly spooked.

After running away Jasmine started drinking and wasn’t heard from for an entire day, receiving worried voice notes from Oscar.

She eventually came back and confronted about Anthony – her father – wanting him to admit all he did to poorly treat her mother.

It was a confrontational conversation, where Patrick admitted Anthony was controlling and obsessive, but that deep down he still believed he was a good man.

It led to Jasmine agreeing to visit the chapel of rest with her family, though when she asked for a moment alone with her dad it was far from to say fond goodbyes.

Jasmine pulled out her phone to bring up a recorded video of him attacking Zoe, who has already including stalking.

She’s screaming at him to “get off” until Anthony suddenly falls backwards onto the ground, motionless.

She turns the video to face her father, as if he can see the entire moment replaying in front of him.

“You could have killed her,” Jasmine said to Anthony’s body in the chapel. “But I stopped you”.

“It’s nice to finally meet you, dad. Now rot in hell”.

Fans of the programme took to X to dissect the moment, shocked that Jasmine’s a murderer.

“Jasmine killed her dad!,” said one user in disbelief. “Jean was right about Jasmine she is the murder suspect. she did it.”

“No one saw that coming, did they?!,” remarked another.

But they were equally confused how Jasmine took Anthony down on her own.

“So that tiny girl, while recording on her phone with one hand, took down a 6 foot bloke with some random object in the other. What!?,” added a third, baffled.

Jasmine’s crimes are yet to be exposed, and her mother still remains in prison.

EastEnders is available for viewing on Mondays – Thursdays at 7.30pm on One. The show further streams on , where most episodes drop at 6am ahead of TV broadcast.
