In her video, she displayed a photo of her stomach from September of last year, revealing that she was wearing leggings.

Her stomach appeared swollen and firm, but in just a few months, she achieved toned abs and an enviable figure.

Now, Brit is sharing her top tips to reduce bloating, so if you're looking to shed some pounds in the new year or simply want to focus on your health, keep reading.

The young woman first mentioned that ginger, turmeric, and lemon shots were her favorites for alleviating bloat.

She stated: “It provides a full body detox; just drink it every morning or night for a sculpted look.”

You can easily prepare these shots at home by purchasing lemons, ginger, and turmeric, blending them together, straining the mixture, and storing it in glass bottles.

Each shot costs around 45p to make, making it a budget-friendly choice.

Brit also recommended consuming bone broth, which is rich in nutrients and minerals and easy to digest.

She is also a fan of the brand Coconut Cult, a vegan fermented yogurt that offers millions of live probiotics for a healthy gut that supports digestion.

The health enthusiast also suggests incorporating chia seeds into your daily diet, as they are high in fiber and can help reduce bloating.

To prevent chia seeds from causing an upset stomach, soak them in liquid for a few hours; this makes them easier to digest.

The video quickly gained popularity on her TikTok account @ britsguthealth , amassing over 2 million views and 170k likes.

Thousands of viewers expressed their gratitude to Brit for her insights in the comments.

One user remarked: “I love this. Gut health is crucial. Small adjustments can lead to significant changes over time.”

Another commented: “Thank you for the valuable information.”

Bloating: Foods to Eat and Avoid

Choosing the right foods can help prevent bloating and alleviate it when it occurs.

However, it largely depends on your symptoms.

If you are bloated and constipated, consider eating:

  • Fruits and vegetables
  • Bran flakes
  • Oats
  • Skin-on potatoes
  • Dried fruits such as apricots and raisins

If you experience trapped wind, avoid:

  • Cabbage and other cruciferous vegetables like broccoli and kale
  • Beans (baked, kidney, butter)
  • Lentils

These foods, including pulses like beans and lentils, should be gradually introduced into your diet as they are high in fiber.

While they may not provide immediate relief, they contribute to long-term gut health.

Try adding them slowly into your meals.

If you are bloated with diarrhea, you may have a stomach bug and should consume:

  • Plain foods: bananas, white rice, bread or toast
  • Boiled potatoes
  • Oatmeal
  • Small and frequent meals

Additional tips for preventing bloating include:

  • Exercise regularly
  • Chew with your mouth closed
  • Eat smaller, more frequent meals instead of large meals
  • Avoid fizzy drinks, alcohol, and caffeine
  • Limit processed, sugary, spicy, or fatty foods

“I’m going to try this,” wrote a third commenter.

Meanwhile, a fourth said: “A really good alternative is kefir; you can find it in most stores. I find it helps with digestion and bloating, especially when consumed in the morning!”

Another user added: “Thanks!”
