A MAN has been charged after a 25-year-old woman was killed in a horror car crash, cops say.
Natasha Poore died following the collision on the A361 in Frome, , in April 2024.
Jobey Jason Smith appeared at Bristol Magistrates Court on October 9 after being charged with causing death by driving without due care and attention while over the prescribed limit for .
The 53-year-old was released on unconditional bail and is due to appear at Bristol Crown Court on November 11, Avon and Somerset Police said.
Natasha was described by her heartbroken family following her death as “beautiful and caring”.
She was tragically killed after a collision between a silver C220 AMG and silver Golf on the A361 near Frome, Somerset, on April 8 2024.
The tragedy happened at the junction with the A362 at approximately 11pm.
In a tribute, her family said she was a “loving sister, granddaughter and friend” whose “life was cut short with many adventures ahead of her”.
The full tribute read: “It is with great sadness that our beautiful and caring daughter Natasha who was a loving sister, granddaughter and friend, was tragically taken from us on Monday 8 April.
“Her life was cut so short with so many adventures ahead of her.
“We will all miss and love her forever.”
