A BRITISH former Dreamboy has been charged with murdering his girlfriend at their home in France.
George Goodayle, 47, is said to have turned himself in after shooting Jayne Gregory, 49, with a hunting rifle.

French prosecutors said he confessed on Monday morning after allegedly shooting her the previous evening. He is said to have claimed it was an accidental shooting.
Officers found her dead with two bullet wounds at the house in Brillac, Cherente in southwestern , and seized a gun thought to be the weapon used.
Gregory was put in custody on charges of spousal murder. He claimed it was an accidental shooting.
He turned himself in at 9am on Monday at the Confolens gendermerie brigade, the day after he allegedly shot Jayne.
A magistrate from the Angoulême public prosecutor’s office went to the scene, as well as a forensic doctor.
Goodayle was put before a judge yesterday and indicted for the murder of a spouse and placed in pre-trial detention.
The couple, both in their 40s, had been dating since June and went on holiday to the Pyrenees together in February.
A friend of Jayne, originally from , , told The Sun she moved to France around the end of 2020 or early 2021 “to escape England and start a new life”.
The friend explained: “She had a previous boyfriend who moved to France to live with her and it didn’t work out.
“This new boyfriend moved to France to live with her. Where she lived in France was in the middle of nowhere.”
Another friend said: “She loved animals, especially horses and dogs. She always had nice clothes and lived a flash lifestyle.
“She was great. She was a great person. She was very outgoing. The life of the party.
“She was very generous. She would go on flash holidays. She ended up moving to France. She always had a great life.
“She ended up going over to France to get away. Start a new life.
“A lot of the time friends would fly out to see her. She lived in a house there.
“She loved animals. When she lived in Doncaster she bred dogs. When she went to France she took a lot of dogs with her. She wasn’t breeding there, she just had them.
“And she loved horses. She was always riding her horses.”
Another described her as “an outgoing person” and a “typical northerner”.
They said: “She seemed quite an outgoing person. She was a typical northerner from Doncaster.
“She seemed to have a lot of friends out in France.”
Another friend called George a “monster”, adding: “Jayne was a beautiful soul, so full of life and deserved so much better. I am heartbroken and beyond angry.”
They added that she was “a beautiful woman and so full of life”.
One neighbour told a local paper: “They very often invited the whole neighbourhood over for drinks and a meal. It was a regular party at their place. They seemed very much in love.”
Angoulême prosecutor Benoît Bernard said: “On March 16, 2026, at 9:00 a.m., a 47-year-old British national, a resident of Brillac since 2016 and with no declared occupation, reported to the Confolens gendarmerie.
“He confessed to having shot his partner the previous evening with a shotgun.
“The suspect was taken into custody on suspicion of spousal murder.
“During his interviews in police custody, the accused suggested the theory of an accidental shooting.”
In March 2011, he wrote on social media: “I’m gorgeous George from the world famous male strip show the Dreamboys.”
He also posted about being in London’s West End and Manchester for the strip show.
Brillac is a small, rural commune as is part of a scenic area known as Charente Limousine.
It consists of a of a central village surrounded by hamlets and farmsteads.
It is often a haven for outdoor enthusiasts going hiking and cycling.
