FRANCE manager Didier Deschamps will fly back from the World Cup after the death of his mother.
The French boss Deschamps will miss Friday’s game against Norway to be with his family for the funeral.

Deschamps learnt that his mum had died on Tuesday morning.
The French Football Federation released a statement later that day confirmed that he will head home for the funeral.
Assistant manager Guy Stephan will take charge of the team while Deschamps is away.
France have won both of their first two games at the 2026 World Cup.
