Published on May 19, 2025 at 09:52 AM

Rangers forward, Cyriel Dessers has officially clinched the Golden Boot in the 2024/25 Scottish Premiership season.

Dessers netted once in Rangers’ 2-2 draw with Hibernian at the Easter Road on Saturday.

The 30-year-old finished the campaign with 18 goals from 35 league appearances.

His closest challengers Dundee United’s Simon Murray and Celtic star Daizen Maeda ended the season with 16 goals each.

Hearts striker Lawrence Shankland won the Scottish Premiership top scorer award last season.

Dessers becomes the first Rangers player to win the award since Alfredo Morelos.
